Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Infant Toddler Childcare Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Consultation Programs team, you will provide training, support, and consultation to licensed family childcare homes and centers, focusing on improving the quality and accessibility of infant and toddler care.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain relationships with childcare providers to support them in improving the quality of services to infants and toddlers.
  2. Provide consultation, technical assistance, and training on infant toddler development, brain science, positive discipline, and other relevant topics.
  3. Facilitate cohorts and Communities of Practice (CoP) to support providers in improving their programs and services.
  4. Work with other specialists to develop comprehensive training programs and resources for childcare providers.
  5. Collaborate with other agency-wide programs and initiatives to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting childcare providers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Three years of experience working in a licensed childcare program, including experience working directly with infants and toddlers.
  • Knowledge of infant toddler development and the ability to communicate effectively with childcare providers.
  • Candidate must hold the Gateways to Opportunity ECE Level 5 and ITC Level 4 credentials.
Benefits

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401k with company match, generous PTO, and tuition reimbursement. Salary begins at $53,000 (annualized) based on background and experience.
