Document Center Specialist

The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Document Center Specialist. This part-time position requires a versatile individual with flexible work hours to assist in the processing and management of physical and digital documents.
Key Responsibilities- Opening, sorting, and preparing physical documents for scanning and processing
- Scanning, processing, and filing documents in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintaining organization of digital file storage and ensuring all processed documents adhere to specific standards
- Assisting other internal offices with document-related requests and handling confidential information with tact and professionalism
- Maintaining logs, reports, and assisting with audits
- Participating in varied training sessions and working under the leadership of the Document Center Manager and Team Leaders
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to perform work with substantial attention to detail
- Reliable, responsible, and self-motivated
- Experience with prioritizing tasks in a deadline-driven environment
- Flexible and able to adapt to frequent process changes
- Demonstrated organizational skills and work ethic
- Ability to handle confidential information with the highest levels of discretion
- Previous document imaging/indexing experience
- Data entry experience
- Experience with Ellucian Banner and/or Salesforce
- Bilingual
