Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building Engineer to join our team at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions. As a Building Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and repairing building system operations and the performance of various areas including plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.
  • Monitor boiler operations during normal operations and maintain and update service data logs.
  • Adjust valves and boiler controls as needed to control the amount of pressure in the system.
  • Test the boiler water and balance with chemicals when needed.
  • Inspect water, gas, and other fluid levels and adjust as needed.
Requirements
  • Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
