Senior Innovation Engineer

New Balance Athletics, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Innovation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our innovation team, you will be responsible for introducing new automation and robotics technologies to our manufacturing facilities, with the goal of strengthening manufacturing as a competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Research and implement new ideas to aid in building a vision of the future
* Analyze new advanced manufacturing trends and techniques, automation, robotics, and assembly tools seeking opportunities to transfer technologies from R&D to the manufacturing facilities
* Work closely with the Manufacturing, Product Engineering, Development and Health & Safety departments to keep assigned projects on schedule
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing, Chemical, Plastics, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant work experience, Masters preferred
* Self-starter with demonstrated problem-solving, ideation, creativity, and investigative skills
* Knowledgeable about the entire product development lifecycle from prototype to launch
* Experience designing test rigs and integrating sensors for data collection
* Familiarity with DOE, life testing, lean principles, Six Sigma, and IQ/OQ/PQ
