Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in CAD design and experience working with ASIC and EDA tools. You will be responsible for automating and troubleshooting design tools to improve team efficiency and ensuring the precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing.

Responsibilities:
  • Research and develop new silicon design and functionality
  • Develop forms and instructions for quality and reliability data reporting
  • Evaluate and improve production equipment and testing
  • Write training materials and conduct quality control training sessions
  • Specialize in areas like design, process control, product evaluation, metrology, automated testing, and research and development
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in custom ASIC CAD environment and extending it
  • 10+ years as a CAD or AE engineer supporting front-end silicon design tool flows (Synthesis, CDC, RDC, lint)
  • Creativity, verbal and written communication, analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Team player and detail-oriented
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and reports
  • Expertise in Computer Aided Design (CAD) and related software
Preferred Candidate:
  • Strong CAD experience, including Synopsys Spyglass
