Key Responsibilities:- Deliver and set up medical equipment at patient homes and offices
- Provide education and training to patients and caregivers on the safe use and maintenance of medical equipment
- Assist with resolving customer equipment problems under emergency conditions
- Participate in quality improvement programs to meet company and JCAHO standards
- Assume on-call responsibilities during non-business hours in accordance with company policy
- Communicate with supervisors any vehicle problems or conditions that would compromise the vehicle's safe operations
- Complete shipping papers when transporting hazardous materials in accordance with company policy and procedures
- Complete written patient visit reports following setup and follow-up visits per company policy
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of current medical products and services offered by the company, as well as applicable governmental regulations
- Develop basic reimbursement knowledge and document all information
- Develop technical knowledge of medical products and services, as appropriate
- Maintain assigned company vehicle in a clean and safe working condition
- Maintain delivery activity database
- Maintain home oxygen systems in patients' homes per company policy
- Manage territory to reach service goals and deliver equipment and oxygen as required in accordance with industry standards and applicable federal, state, and local governmental regulations
- Prepare and maintain written company records, including invoices, work orders, manifests, and logs
- Process all orders and required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
- Report equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with company policies
- Background investigation
- Drug screen
- Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, required
- Experience with medical equipment, preferred
- One year of related work experience, preferred
- Medical terminology, preferred
- Effectively communicate in English, both oral and written
- Successfully demonstrate loading, unloading, and proper tie-down procedures as per company policy for transported cargo
- Understand use of all applicable home respiratory equipment and supplies
- Lift and carry office equipment at times
- Requires sitting, walking, standing, talking, and listening
- Requires close vision to small print on computer and/or tablet and paperwork
- Requires lifting (minimum of 65 pounds) and transporting of patient equipment
- Requires contact with patients and equipment with potential exposure to contagious pathogens
- Requires driving a company vehicle for the majority of the workday
- Required to comply with Respiratory Protection & N95 Mask Fit Testing Policy
- Keep face clean-shaven to ensure N95 Mask face-seal protection per OSHA guidelines
