Process Equipment Specialist

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Process Equipment Engineer to support the implementation of manufacturing equipment capital projects, manufacturing processes, and equipment technologies at our client's site in Fort Washington, PA.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective manufacturing processes, including researching current and emerging technologies, evaluating process cost, quality, and capability alternatives, and performing process characterization and optimization.
- Design and conduct comprehensive engineering activities to develop and implement high-quality processes and design guidelines for dissemination throughout the division.
- Provide complex design reviews and feedback for improvements in manufacturability, and facilitate technology transfer from process development to commercial-sale processes for new product introductions.
- Lead cross-functional teams to design and install multi-million-dollar capital projects, primarily focused on new and upgraded projects throughout the facility, which may include packaging, manufacturing, and/or facilities equipment.
- Act as a liaison with Engineering and Business Units on manufacturing capabilities of new products and/or new processes, and administer all projects according to the Capital Review Process.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field of study.
- Minimum of 5 years of Manufacturing Process Engineer experience.
- Experience with the installation, commissioning, and validation of manufacturing equipment, as well as implementing manufacturing processes and equipment technologies.
- Competitive hourly rate: $65.00-$80.00/hr (flexible based on experience).
- Monday-Friday, 4:30pm-12:30am schedule.
- 13-month contract with likelihood of extension and/or permanent hire.
- 10 PTO days.
