Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist - Cytology Specialist to join our team at MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cytology and laboratory procedures, with excellent communication and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen gynecological cytology specimens and render an appropriate diagnosis
  • Triage abnormal gynecologic cases to pathologists for further review
  • Participate in quality control initiatives and assist with laboratory functions as needed
  • Complete screening and computer entry of diagnosis for gynecological and non-gynecological cases
  • Contribute to the education of others and continue own education
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Medical Technology or related field
  • ASCP-Cytologist (ASCP-CT) or Specialist in Cytology-ASCP (SCT) certification
  • Less than 1 year of experience in cytology laboratory setting
