Quality Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and administering cost-effective quality programs to ensure that our products meet or exceed contractual quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality plans for receiving inspection, manufacturing operations, assembly and test processes, and final inspection.
  • Work directly with customers and suppliers to identify root cause and corrective action.
  • Optimize cost for inspection and prevent cost due to failure through statistical analysis and problem-solving.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience in the Aerospace industry.
  • Experience with AS9100 standards.
  • Proficiency with statistical, spreadsheet, word processing, and database software packages.
  • Experience supporting government and customer audits.
  • Specialized technical knowledge of mechanical, electro-mechanical, hydro-mechanical components, as well as manufacturing assembly, and functional test methods.
  • Ability to support quality-related issues to drive program success and convey confidence to customers during frequent interactions.
  • ASQ certification is a plus.
