As a Retail Operations Leader, you will oversee all aspects of store operations to optimize sales performance while embodying "Our Burlington" values in your location.

You will serve as a mentor, role model, and coach for your team members, collaborating with associates across various branches of the organization.

Leading by example, you will demonstrate how to provide outstanding customer service with professionalism, ensuring a world-class shopping experience for our customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Direct management and supervision of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure adherence to company policies, standards, and initiatives.
  • Collaboration with the Assistant Store Manager in Merchandising to strategize merchandise placement, sales promotions, and pricing.
  • Partnership with the Assistant Store Manager in Operations to review inventory processes, including receiving, transfers, and returns, ensuring accuracy.
  • Management of a multi-million dollar sales volume and expense budget, including thorough reporting and record-keeping.
  • Recruitment, screening, and hiring of associates to meet staffing needs.
  • Facilitation of onboarding and training for new team members, providing ongoing coaching and structured development activities.
  • Management of personnel and associate relations issues.
  • Oversight of payroll budget management, workforce management, and scheduling.
  • Promotion of effective communication and collaboration among store teams, regional management, and other company partners.

Other tasks may be assigned as necessary. Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment and be available to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Familiarity with computerized scheduling and reporting software is essential. Occasional travel may be necessary.
