The Relationship Manager II is tasked with the vital role of maintaining and enhancing current commercial partnerships, alongside fostering new business connections, under the mentorship of the Regional President or Senior Relationship Manager. This position encompasses the promotion and management of both credit and non-credit offerings. The assigned portfolio will primarily consist of relationships characterized by low to moderate complexities.
Key Responsibilities:

- Exhibit a positive demeanor and eagerness to learn while delivering exceptional service to all LINKBANK clients.
- Take charge of retaining and expanding existing commercial relationships while initiating and developing new business opportunities.
- Address the requirements of clients seeking loans or lines of credit tailored to their specific needs.
- Conduct interviews with clients and potential clients, preparing documentation for commercial loans by gathering and analyzing financial data to ensure proper loan structuring for presentation to the loan committee or management.
- Manage current loan and deposit accounts while promoting additional credit and non-credit products, including treasury management and third-party services like merchant services and credit cards.
- Collaborate with the credit department to analyze financial data for new or renewed loans.
- Monitor emerging trends or early indicators of problematic credits, conducting timely risk assessments and updating loan systems and customer credit files accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with terms and covenants by tracking the existing loan portfolio.
- Accurately document and finalize approved loan requests in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, bank policies, and sound banking practices.
- Engage in continuous education to remain informed about current lending regulations and procedures.
- Actively participate in community and business organizations to enhance the visibility of the bank's brand and serve on various civic committees to boost community involvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education: A four-year bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
Skills and Abilities:
- In-depth knowledge of commercial and consumer loan and deposit products.
- Training in commercial lending, including financial statement analysis and loan structuring.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with clear guidance from supervisors.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and a proactive approach.
- Proficient in computer applications and Windows operating systems.
- Active involvement in community events and strong networking abilities.
- Exceptional sales and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Completion of required annual regulatory training.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel as necessary within the bank's operational areas and to client locations.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Ability to communicate instructions and information clearly and accurately.
- Capability to read and comprehend complex schedules and details for accurate correspondence processing.
- Manual dexterity for operating office equipment and computers.
- Visual acuity for working at a computer terminal.
- Mobility to coordinate departmental activities and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
This position is situated in a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, printers, phones, and postage meters.
