Job Summary

The Accounting Associate at Mercury Broadband will provide critical support to the accounting department, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes. Key Responsibilities
  • Accounts Payable Processing: Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices for all entities.
  • Fixed Asset Management: Process fixed assets, ensure accurate reporting of depreciation, and reconcile the fixed asset sub-ledger to the ledger.
  • Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations to the ledger for assigned accounts.
  • Accounting Projects: Complete assigned accounting projects, including data entry, reporting, and filing.
  • Transaction Processing: Process transactions and update ledgers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Documentation Verification: Verify the accuracy of documentation and balances.
  • Invoice Management: Upload invoices into software and enter relevant information.
  • Authorization and Payment Coordination: Coordinate with departmental leaders to ensure proper authorization and timely payment of invoices.
  • Customer and Vendor Inquiries: Respond to inquiries about payments and invoices from vendors and customers.
Requirements
  • Analytical and Computational Skills: Excellent analytical, computational, and mathematical abilities.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in bookkeeping programs and related software.
