Position Overview: AAV-Protein Specialist
Location: New York, NY
Contract Duration: 12+ Months (Potential for Extension)

Role Summary:
The AAV-Protein Specialist will play a crucial role in the downstream processing of AAV products, employing advanced purification techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute protein purification utilizing AKTA FPLC systems.
- Prepare buffers essential for protein purification processes.
- Document experimental procedures meticulously, analyze results, and derive conclusions from sample evaluations.
- Support laboratory management tasks, including ordering supplies, labeling, and maintaining inventory.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in biology or a related discipline, along with:
- General laboratory experience, including pipetting and buffer preparation.
- Experience with AAV processes (preferred).
- Proficiency in protein purification techniques (preferred).
- Familiarity with digital lab notebook software such as Labguru or Benchling (preferred).
