Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Engine Teardown Specialist to join our team at Willis Lease Finance Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing teardown maintenance on aircraft engines, ensuring they are safely and efficiently disassembled and prepared for further maintenance or repair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform teardown maintenance on aircraft engines, including QEC removal and engine disassembly, in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Use technical manuals and specifications to determine correct removal procedures and identify parts for removal and packaging.
  • Tag and package removed parts to prevent damage and ensure accurate tracking.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve maintenance goals and deadlines.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent workmanship and attention to detail in performing duties.
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions due to the degree of responsibility required.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow manual instructions in English.
  • Ability to lift or pull objects weighing up to 70 pounds frequently.
  • Agility to stand, lie, or kneel in awkward positions and to perform work from scaffolds or ladders.
  • Manual dexterity to operate tools to adjust and do repairs.
  • Sufficient visual acuity to inspect equipment for defects.
  • Ability to work at times in small, confined spaces.
Travel and Miscellaneous
  • Light travel may be required.
