The Creative Print Specialist manages the print services within the store, focusing on both design and production aspects. This role involves collaborating with clients to conceptualize, schedule, and execute their print projects.

The ideal candidate should possess one to two years of relevant experience or hold a two-year degree in graphic design or a related discipline. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office is essential, along with a solid understanding of printing principles and hands-on experience with digital printing and finishing equipment. Store hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am to 6:30pm, Saturday 9am to 5pm, Sunday 10am to 3pm.

Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Independently completes tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Applies color management techniques and makes necessary file adjustments.
  • Adheres to quality standards and guidelines.
  • Interprets various instructions in both written and verbal formats.
  • Generates and presents design concepts to clients.
  • Engages with clients to refine designs according to their preferences.
  • Reviews job requirements thoroughly before initiating the design process.
  • Effectively manages production timelines and materials.
  • Operates and maintains printing and finishing machinery.
  • Exhibits meticulous attention to detail when reviewing all materials.
  • Performs additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • One to two years of experience or a two-year degree in graphic design or a related field.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites (2 years preferred).
  • Experience in production scheduling.
  • Project management capabilities.
  • Hands-on experience with digital printing and finishing equipment.
  • Able to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of printing concepts and their application.
  • Good understanding of color management and ability to implement file adjustments.
  • Ability to follow and comprehend quality guidelines.
  • Skilled in operating and maintaining print and finishing equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, including spelling and basic math.
  • Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
  • Able to lift over 40 pounds.
