Creative Print Specialist

The Creative Print Specialist is responsible for managing the print center operations, focusing on both design and production aspects. This role involves collaborating with clients to conceptualize, schedule, and deliver their print projects efficiently.
The ideal candidate should possess one to two years of relevant experience or hold an associate degree in graphic design or a related discipline. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office is essential, along with a solid understanding of printing processes and hands-on experience with digital printing and finishing equipment. Operational Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM, Sunday 10 AM to 3 PM.
Compensation: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, based on skills and experience.
Available Shifts:
- Mornings
- Afternoons
- Weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Apply color management techniques and make necessary file adjustments.
- Adhere to quality standards and guidelines.
- Interpret instructions provided in various formats.
- Develop and present design concepts to clients.
- Engage with clients to refine designs according to their preferences.
- Review job requirements thoroughly before commencing work.
- Efficiently manage production schedules and materials.
- Operate and maintain printing and finishing machinery.
- Ensure meticulous attention to detail during the proofing process.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- One to two years of experience or an associate degree in graphic design or a related field.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites (2 years preferred).
- Experience in production scheduling.
- Project management capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with digital printing and finishing equipment.
- Able to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of printing concepts and their application.
- Good understanding of color management and file adjustments.
- Ability to follow quality guidelines effectively.
- Competence in operating and maintaining print and finishing equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math proficiency.
- Reliable and responsible work ethic.
- Able to lift 40+ pounds.
