We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Graduate Academic Records Specialist at Western Colorado University.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our students and faculty, while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administration, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate academic records, ensure compliance with university policies, and facilitate effective communication regarding graduate curriculum, academic policies, and events.
- Oversee registration tasks, build and maintain academic requirements in Workday, audit degree progress, identify discrepancies, and ensure accurate reporting.
- Assist in ensuring Workday SIS data integrity by implementing curriculum updates, troubleshooting system issues, and participating in system testing and enhancements.
- Organize and track curriculum proposals through the shared governance process, update the graduate catalog annually, and ensure policies and curriculum are accurate across platforms.
- Provide administrative support for scheduling, record-keeping, and data entry, serve as a point of contact for graduate academic records and policy inquiries.
- Bachelor's degree with proficiency in Office365.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in ways that are understandable to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to be self-motivated and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in areas such as attention to detail, problem-solving, analytical & critical thinking.
