Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our Finance and Administration team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and prioritizing tasks independently, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a smooth workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Operations: Work closely with the AP Supervisor and Manager to develop collaborative relationships with SANS employees, NPRs, and vendors.
  • Payment Processing: Prepare US and International payments, enter them into the accounting system, and review incoming USD and foreign currency wire payment requests.
  • Accounts Payable: Review incoming ACH payment requests, enter payment vouchers into the accounting system, print back-ups, and file them.
  • Invoice Processing: Process invoices with PO matching and respond to email inquiries related to processed payments.
  • AP Team Support: Assist with review of AP Batches, maintain personnel information for Accounts Payable team, and set up Employee, Contractor, and Vendor Accounts.
  • Process Documentation: Update existing Accounts Payable process documentation and assist with development of new process documentation.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar discipline.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft products, particularly Excel, excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and attention to detail.
  • Experience: Experience with Concur, Microsoft Dynamics SL or SAP, and Project Accounting is preferred.
