Master Guitar Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Master Guitar Specialist to join our team at Guitar Center. As a key member of our repair services team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional maintenance and repair services for customer-owned instruments while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

About the Role:
As our Master Guitar Specialist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality maintenance and repair services on customer-owned instruments, as well as assisting in the maintenance of specific store inventory. Your primary objective will be to continually build and increase business through great customer experience and quality work. Some essential characteristics of successful Master Guitar Specialists include:
- Customer Focus: Understanding customer service principles and able to provide an excellent customer experience.
- Initiative: Able to identify opportunities & issues and follow through on work activities to capitalize or resolve them.
- Selling: Able to work through GC certification program to gain a base understanding of products and sales techniques.
- Training: Able to effectively train learners and communicate information and techniques so that they are retained.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers ensuring a positive customer experience
- Service customer-owned instruments with a high level of craftsmanship
- Maintain store-owned gear, as requested
- Complete warranty repair work
- Additional duties as assigned
