About the Role

Pine Tree is seeking a highly skilled Property Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Property Management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail portfolio, with a focus on creating positive tenant relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with tenants to ensure their satisfaction and retention.
  • Perform regular property inspections and recommend necessary alterations, maintenance, and reconditioning.
  • Prepare and monitor annual operating budgets, as well as track expenses and variances.
  • Negotiate and contract with vendors, and supervise their work as needed.
  • Respond to property and tenant needs, and coordinate with the team to resolve issues.
  • Oversee the timely collection of rent, payment of expenses, and compliance with lease terms.
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly reports, including operational summaries, collections, and variance reports.
  • Supervise the planning and implementation of operating expenditures.
  • Interact regularly with clients and team members to ensure that Pine Tree's business objectives are being met.
  • Review and manage invoices for payment.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance is preferred, with at least 3+ years of experience in retail/shopping center properties.
  • Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office 365, and experience using CRE management software such as Yardi and Argus is preferred.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills are essential.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% per month is required.
  • Ability to maintain strong attention to detail and a high efficiency and accuracy rate is necessary.
  • Ability to spot issues proactively and head them off or start the solution process is crucial.
  • Desire to learn and grow is essential.
