We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our team at Kamatics Corp. Defunct. As an Accounting Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting our financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting Transactions: Record, classify, and report accounting transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Reconciliations: Reconcile various general ledger accounts and analyze accounting transactions to ensure proper classification.
- Cash Management: Process and reconcile cash receipts from lockbox deposits, ACH, and wire transfers to the ledger.
- Accounts Receivable: Collect accounts receivable balances, work with management to analyze new and existing customer credit history, and recommend terms or changes in terms.
- Special Projects: Assist with special projects and assignments from other company businesses as assigned.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience: 1+ year of experience in accounting or a related field, preferably in manufacturing or aerospace.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and good organizational skills.
- Knowledge: Understanding of U.S. GAAP, familiarity with revenue recognition regulations, and basic credit and collections knowledge.
