Your Role

Lockheed Martin Space is looking for a full-time Early Career Spacecraft/Satellite Flight Operations professional. In this capacity, you may be part of a 24/7 operational team or provide dedicated support during daytime hours within Flight Operations. A willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule is essential.

We will equip you with extensive training and certification programs to leverage your existing engineering expertise in support of a critical customer mission.

The ideal candidate will enhance their engineering capabilities through a comprehensive educational and certification framework, reinforcing their skills for a significant customer mission.


Eligibility Requirements

Must be a US Citizen; this role necessitates a government security clearance. The position is situated at a facility requiring special access.

Capability to obtain TS/SCI clearance is mandatory for this position.


Basic Qualifications


A Bachelor's degree in a relevant science or technology discipline such as Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Systems Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related fields.

Selected candidates will undergo a government security investigation and must fulfill eligibility criteria for access to classified information, including US Citizenship.

Experience with on-orbit spacecraft or satellite operations.
Familiarity with programming languages and systems such as LINUX, MATLAB, JAVA, C++, PERL, ORACLE/SQL, HTML, or XML.
Understanding of software/hardware infrastructure, middleware, and system architectures.

Salary Range:

The annual base salary for this position varies by location and experience, with a general range provided for reference.

Lockheed Martin considers various factors such as job responsibilities, candidate experience, education, and market conditions when determining compensation.
