Junior Flight Operations Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Spacecraft/Satellite Flight Operations Junior TS/SCI. This role will support a 24/7 crew or direct support day staff position within Flight Operations, requiring the ability to work rotating shifts.
Key Responsibilities- Support the operation of spacecraft and satellites, ensuring seamless mission execution and data collection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement flight operations plans, procedures, and training programs.
- Conduct thorough analysis and troubleshooting of system issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including procedures, guides, and training materials.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new technologies and systems to enhance flight operations efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in a science and technology-related field, such as Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Systems Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify solutions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance, with a willingness to work in a secure facility.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as LINUX, MATLAB, JAVA, C++, PERL, ORACLE/SQL, HTML, or XML.
- Experience working with on-orbit spacecraft or satellite flight operations.
- Familiarity with software and hardware infrastructure, middleware, and system architectures.
- Self-initiated learner, with a strong desire to continuously develop and improve skills and knowledge.
