Job Title: Substance Abuse Counselor

As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you will be part of a team dedicated to treating the whole person, addressing the underlying causes of OUD, and supporting patients on their journey to recovery.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Substance Abuse Counselor to work in our methadone treatment centers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in substance abuse counseling, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with patients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
Requirements:
  • Counseling certification in a related field (State Specific)
  • Minimum of 500 hours of experience in substance abuse
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
