Job Summary

SSM Health is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and treatments
  • Conduct vital signs and record patient information
  • Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean and organized environment
  • Perform basic clerical duties, including answering phones and maintaining records
  • Assist with ordering and stocking of supplies
  • May document patient encounters and transcribe orders
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Medical Assistant certification (CCMA, CMA, CMAC, RMA, MAC, NCMA, NRCMA, or RMA) required
