Job Summary

SSM Health is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant/RMA/CMA to join our team as a Clinical Support Specialist. This role will provide critical support to our healthcare team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with treatments ordered by providers, performing select clinical duties under their supervision.
  • Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patients' charts, preparing treatment rooms for examination.
  • Perform basic clerical duties, including answering phones, maintaining records, and filing.
  • Manage supplies, ordering and stocking as needed, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a constant state of alertness and safety.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent, or 10 years of work experience.
  • Wisconsin residents: High School diploma or equivalent, or 10 years of work experience, and graduation from an accredited medical assisting program.
Physical Demands
  • Constant standing and walking.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech for oral communication.
  • Frequent use of vision for distances near and far, and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, crawling, kneeling, sitting, squatting, and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Occasional lifting/moving patients.
