JOB DESCRIPTION

Department: Maternal Medicine Ambulatory

Shift Timings: Morning shift 08:00 - 16:30 Hours

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • The Ultrasound Specialist conducts diagnostic ultrasound examinations, exhibiting sound judgment in the utilization and application of ultrasound technology.
  • The incumbent evaluates the results of ultrasound assessments and aids the radiologist and medical staff in interpreting the ultrasound findings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) Certification
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
  • Comprehensive understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Ability to remain on feet for extended durations.
  • Strong technical capabilities.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Commitment to patient care excellence.
  • BLS Provider certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Graduation from an accredited Ultrasound Technician program.
  • A minimum of three years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician.
  • Active, unencumbered state license.
  • Must possess Nuchal Translucency and ARDMS certifications.
Requirements:
  • COVID vaccination with two shots and a booster.
