Overview:
This position for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer focuses on an Android application. The role entails providing insights on deliverables produced during the requirements and analysis stages of client projects; creating test cases/scripts; and executing tests for both project and support-related tasks. The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer is expected to utilize technical knowledge to develop, maintain, and run automation tests. Additionally, this role involves identifying opportunities to enhance application code quality by increasing unit and integration test coverage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that automation test suites are consistently maintained and functional
  • Evaluate requirements and offer feedback on their completeness and testability
  • Provide precise estimates for QA activities, including test case design/scripting, test data management, test execution, and defect resolution
  • Identify opportunities to enhance application code quality through increased unit and integration test coverage
  • Utilize technical expertise to develop, maintain, and execute automation tests
  • Contribute ideas and feedback on test automation frameworks and areas for improvement
  • Engage in all ceremonies, meetings, and sessions held for the project and team
  • Assist in building and maintaining test environments and promoting their optimal use
  • Comprehend the company's core quality metrics and leverage them to drive quality enhancements
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
  • 3+ years of experience in testing mobile applications
  • Familiarity with QA processes and deliverables in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Proficient in defect tracking and root cause analysis using tools (e.g., Jira, Rally)
  • Strong understanding of automation and performance testing concepts and methodologies
  • Ability to apply risk-based testing techniques
  • Experience in managing test environments and test data
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • 3+ years of experience writing Selenium tests in Java or JavaScript (e.g., Web Driver, Web Driver IO, Marathon, Appium)
  • 3+ years of experience with test runners (e.g., Junit, TestNG, Mocha, Jasmine)
  • 3+ years of experience with CI tools (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab)
  • 1+ years of experience with Selenium Grid
  • 3+ years of experience using Jira for defect tracking
  • 2+ years of experience using Quality Center/ALM for test case management
  • 2+ years of experience utilizing SQL for back-end database validation
  • Preference for recent experience with Selenium in the current/most recent project
  • Develop and maintain functional automation test scripts using modular frameworks and best practices
Compensation:
The pay rate range mentioned is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to offer for this position (compensation may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location, and client requirements).
