Position Overview

Jack Brown's Beer & Burger Joint is on the lookout for a passionate and motivated Deputy General Manager to become a vital part of our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the General Manager to ensure the efficient functioning of our establishment while delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Your responsibilities will include supervising daily operations, managing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and beverage services, and upholding cleanliness and hygiene standards. You will also play a key role in developing and executing strategies aimed at maximizing profitability and enhancing customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the General Manager in inspiring and guiding the restaurant team.
  • Support in the recruitment, training, and assessment of team members to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Oversee the smooth operation of food and beverage services, customer seating, and flow management.
  • Contribute to the creation and execution of marketing strategies and promotional initiatives.
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage supply orders, and ensure stock availability.
  • Assist in addressing customer complaints and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Work with the management team to review financial reports and implement cost-control strategies.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a supervisory capacity within the restaurant sector.
  • Strong leadership and communication capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Comprehensive understanding of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service and customer management.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management tools.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $50,000-$55,000

Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance provided by Jack Brown's, valued at over $7,000 annually, effective after 60 days of employment in a full-time management role.

401K plan with a 2% company match after one year of service.
