The Department of Neurology at the University of Virginia is seeking a highly skilled pediatric neuropsychologist to join their team as an assistant or associate professor.

The primary responsibility of this position will be to conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments of children and adolescents with diverse neurological conditions, such as congenital heart disease, complications of prematurity, epilepsy, and acquired brain injury.

As part of this role, the successful candidate will also be expected to participate in clinical education and develop research collaborations that advance the field of pediatric neuropsychology.

In addition to their technical expertise, the ideal candidate should have experience working in a medical setting and be specifically trained in the assessment of complex neurological and medical conditions.

Requirements for the Position:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a doctoral degree from an APA/CPA accredited program
  • Have completed an internship at an APA/CPA accredited site
  • Have postdoctoral training in pediatric neuropsychology
  • Be eligible for licensure in the state of Virginia
  • Be eligible for certification as a clinical neuropsychologist by the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology

Salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
