**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Pulmonary Medicine Specialist - Pediatric Care to join our team at Children's Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary care team, you will provide expert clinical services to pediatric patients with respiratory conditions, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and exceptional patient experiences.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Evaluate and manage complex respiratory conditions in children, developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals across disciplines to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions between settings.
  • Communicate effectively with families, providing emotional support and education on disease management and self-care strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in pulmonary medicine, applying evidence-based guidelines to optimize patient care.

**Requirements:**

  • Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Texas (or current valid compact RN license) and certification as a nurse practitioner by a national certifying body recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing.
  • Or, current license issued by the Texas Physician Assistant Board within 180 days and certification issued by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
