About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Psychologist to join our team at St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute (SLBMI). As a member of our Center for Obsessive-Compulsive and Anxiety-Related Disorders (COARD), you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of 70+ colleagues who are dedicated to providing compassionate behavioral healthcare.

Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based assessment and treatment for a full spectrum of anxiety and obsessive-compulsive-related conditions.
  • Work with patients in both traditional outpatient behavioral health settings and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs).
  • Develop and maintain a caseload of patients with anxiety and OCD disorders, with opportunities to work with patients with other conditions as well.
  • Participate in regular consultation and education with other COARD team members to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in a clinical mental health field (e.g. MSW, Professional Counselor, Ph.D).
  • Full licensure by the State of Missouri to practice independently.
  • Experience and specialty focus within the area of anxiety, with ability to provide evidence-based assessment and treatment of anxiety and OCD disorders.
Onboarding Options

We offer two onboarding models to support your transition to our team:

  • Full-time base salary guarantee (benefits-eligible) transitional plan, typically four months.
  • Specialist-in-Training model, a transitional plan of training, typically six months, for Licensed Providers who need additional training within their program's area of specialization.
