Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Psychologist to join our General Mental Health Program at St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute (SLBMI). As a Generalist Psychologist, you will work with patients who require general psychotherapy for a wide range of conditions and issues, including stress management, depression, adjustment disorders, mood disorders, and substance use disorders.
About the ProgramOur General Mental Health Program is designed to provide general psychotherapy for patients who do not meet the severity need of treatment presented within our other specialty programs. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of 70+ colleagues who are dedicated to providing compassionate behavioral healthcare. Our clinicians enjoy the aspects of being an independent provider while having the administrative and operational support to manage everything else that you need as a provider.

We offer a full-time base salary guarantee (benefits-eligible) transitional plan, typically four months, to allow new providers time to build their caseload. We also offer a Specialist-in-Training model, a transitional plan of training, typically six months, that is meant for Licensed Providers who need additional training within their program's area of specialization prior to being considered a specialist in that area of practice.
Qualifications- Interested applicants must have completed a Master's or doctoral degree in a clinical mental health field (e.g. MSW, Professional Counselor, Ph.D) AND be fully licensed by the State of Missouri to practice independently
- Pyschologists who do not reside in Missouri must have a current Psychology license in a PSYPACT state that they reside in, hold a current PSYPACT credential and be willing to maintain that credential
- All applicants must be credentialed-eligible for managed care panels in Missouri
