Responsibilities- Assess patients' psychological status and provide appropriate interventions and treatments.
- Collaborate with nursing and ancillary services to provide psychological therapy for patients.
- Provide psychological expertise and education to the multidisciplinary team.
- Communicate complex and sensitive information to patients and the medical team.
- Administer and interpret psychological tests used for diagnosing mental and personality disorders.
- Carry out ongoing record keeping and case review of all psychotherapy work.
- Provide assessment of suicidal and homicidal risk and immediacy of crisis situations.
- Provide a continuum of short and long-term psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology or a related field.
- No experience required.
The Clinical Psychologist will work in a fast-paced environment, providing psychological services to patients in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex information to patients and the medical team.
