Fusion Medical Staffing-Home Health is a leading provider of travel nursing services, and we are seeking a highly skilled Home Health Hospice RN to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Washington, D.C.
About the Job
We are offering a competitive pay package based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. As a travel nurse with Fusion Medical Staffing, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and locations, gaining valuable experience and skills while enjoying a high level of autonomy and flexibility.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform an initial and ongoing assessment to determine the assigned patient's ongoing nursing care needs.
- Develop, review, and revise individualized plans of care to address the patient's nursing care needs for optimum patient care outcomes.
- Implement interventions that are consistent with the established plan of care in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Evaluate patient care to determine response to care/interventions for optimal patient outcome.
- Review, delegate, and evaluate plans for appropriate utilization of staff at all levels of practice in accordance with the provision of the state's Nurse Practice Act and the Professional Standards of Practice.
Requirements
- One year's experience as a RN or LPN, at least 6 months Hospice nurse experience required.
- Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling, and able to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment.
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally as well as working without assistance from other personnel.
