Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize automated inventory control systems to manage the ordering, receiving, and stocking of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Restock supplies daily and rotate inventory to maintain accurate levels, generating orders and requisitions as needed.
  • Distribute medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas, monitoring par levels to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs through par level manipulation, reorder points, and holding costs.
  • Return excess inventory and process credits.
  • Notify supervisors of outdated or slow-moving inventory.
  • Participate in the put-away and validation process of perpetual inventory items.
  • Issue and credit materials from the inventory management system.
  • Maintain clean and orderly stock locations, labeling bins and handling requests to change pars.
  • Act as liaison between clinical staff and supply chain management as needed.
  • Work with buyers and Divisional Inventory Coordinator to pull relevant products in the event of recalls.

Requirements:

  • One year of supply chain-related experience or other relevant experience.
