Job Overview

The Credit Risk Analyst plays a crucial role in evaluating and managing credit exposure for our clients. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and possess a keen eye for detail.

Working Hours:

This role requires residency in the Rochester area due to a hybrid work schedule. The working hours are as follows:

  • Monday to Wednesday: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
  • Thursday: Remote, 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
  • Friday: Remote, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Compensation:

The hourly wage for this position is $20.00.

Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Background in finance is advantageous
  • Experience in a fast-paced computer environment
  • Proficiency in multitasking and Microsoft Office
  • Effective time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Financial Accounting
  • Experience in Financial Management
Key Responsibilities:

The Credit Risk Analyst is responsible for:

  • Assessing credit risk by reviewing incoming clients who utilize company payroll services.
  • Delivering exceptional client service and technical support to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Reviewing and making decisions on credit authorizations, payments, or terminations up to $100,000 to minimize risk and ensure sound financial choices.
  • Analyzing credit reports (Equifax, Experian) and financial data to facilitate informed credit decisions.
  • Identifying and investigating potentially fraudulent clients, escalating significant findings to supervisors and the fraud investigations team.
  • Conducting daily assessments of new clients to identify potential matches with previously terminated clients due to non-payment issues.
