Job Summary:
Paladin Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Specialist to join our team. As a Credit Risk Specialist, you will be responsible for mitigating credit risk exposure by reviewing incoming clients and providing advanced client service and technical product support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Credit Risk Mitigation: Conduct thorough reviews of incoming clients to identify potential credit risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Client Service: Provide exceptional client service and technical product support to internal and external partners.
- Problem Resolution: Ensure timely and accurate problem resolution while mitigating risks.
- Credit Authorization: Review and approve or deny credit authorizations, payments, or termination decisions up to $100,000 to mitigate potential risk and ensure the best financial decision is implemented for the client.
- Recommendations: Prepare recommendations to management on items exceeding $100,000.
- Credit Reviews: Conduct credit reviews on new Payroll clients.
- Credit Report Analysis: Review and interpret credit reports (Equifax, Experian) and financial trade and public record data as necessary to assist in the credit decision-making process.
- Fraud Detection: Identify and research potentially fraudulent clients and escalate all positive matches to a supervisor and the fraud investigations group.
- Client Removal: Remove clients from services when required.
- Client Concerns: Diffuse difficult client concerns and notify management of critical situations to ensure the best solution is implemented for the clients.
- Product and Service Issues: Research and resolve product and service issues from the field and our clients and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions input into the product systems.
- Product Knowledge: Participate in product-related projects or training sessions to ensure area of responsibility is represented.
- Industry Knowledge: Develop and maintain knowledge of all product offerings, regulatory changes, policy changes, and industry developments.
