Position Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Wilmington, NC

Overview:

We are looking for a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services to students facing challenges with speech and language. This role is vital in enhancing communication abilities and fostering academic success within the educational framework.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine the speech and language needs of students, formulating tailored therapy strategies.
  • Therapeutic Services: Implement individualized and group therapy sessions targeting a range of speech, language, and fluency issues.
  • IEP Collaboration: Engage in the formulation and assessment of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), establishing specific communication objectives and monitoring advancements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside educators, caregivers, and school personnel to integrate therapy goals seamlessly into everyday classroom practices.
  • Progress Documentation: Keep meticulous records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and student progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid North Carolina State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
  • Experience in an educational environment is advantageous.
