About the Role

As an Admissions Advisor at Colorado Technical University, you will play a critical role in guiding prospective students through the admissions process. Your primary responsibility will be to communicate the university's flexible program options, features, and benefits to prospective students, ensuring they make an informed decision about their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective students, providing them with personalized guidance and support throughout the admissions process.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of prospective students' educational needs, interests, and motivations to determine the best fit for the university's programs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Financial Aid and Academics, to ensure a seamless experience for students.
  • Develop and implement action plans to achieve individual and departmental student-population goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on university policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Computer proficiency, with experience in Windows and Microsoft Office preferred.
  • High school education or equivalent; a college degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • One or more years of experience in sales and/or customer service is preferred.
  • Post-secondary higher-education admissions experience is preferred.
