About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Newport, Ohio. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing speech and language services to students with communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose communication disorders in students
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and assessments
  • Provide speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions
  • Attend meetings and provide reports on student progress
Requirements
  • A valid Ohio State SLP License is required, and a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent is also required
  • Prior school-based experience is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
