Training and Community Engagement Specialist

The Training and Community Engagement Specialist will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs that promote employment readiness and career development. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of adult learning styles and be able to design and deliver training sessions that meet the needs of diverse learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training programs on topics such as job readiness, interview skills, and resume writing.
- Collaborate with local businesses and organizations to identify training needs and develop solutions.
- Provide coaching and mentoring services to individuals and families to help them achieve self-sufficiency.
- Conduct case management and assessments to determine eligibility for assistance and benefit levels.
- Establish and monitor individual and household development plan goals through information and assessment of client background.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, social work, sociology, or closely related field.
- At least three years' experience in human resources, community services, workforce development, and/or training programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year.
