Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic Technician to join our team at Albertsons. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions of all varieties
  • Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation
  • Remove defective parts by dismantling devices and examining the form and texture of parts
  • Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts and using measuring instruments
  • Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments
  • Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance
  • Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools and equipment
  • Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock and anticipating needs
  • Prepare daily setup of equipment and maintain a safe and clean working environment
Requirements
  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • 1+ years' experience working in warehouse, fulfillment, or manufacturing
  • 1+ years' experience with mechanical and/or electrical repair required
  • Knowledge of fabrication, machine shop tools, welding, hydraulics, and/or pneumatics
  • Ability to read and follow schematics, electrical diagrams, and blueprints
  • LME (Limited Maintenance Electrical) License preferred
  • EPA Refrigeration Certification preferred
Working Conditions

Frequently standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs. Ability to lift 50lbs on a repetitive basis. Ability to work in noisy environments.
