Account Executive Job Description

Heller Consulting is seeking a seasoned Account Executive to drive sales revenue growth and expand our footprint in the Nonprofit and Higher Education market. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong client relationships, as well as a deep understanding of procurement processes and software vendor sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet annual sales revenue targets by building and maintaining a robust pipeline and closing deals
  • Conduct prospecting to generate new leads and opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strategic vendor relationships to close deals
  • Develop and deliver proposals and participate in demos to prospects
  • Steward current projects to realize contracted revenue and ensure effective transition between project phases
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • Significant depth of experience in the Nonprofit and/or Higher Education sector
  • Experience with establishing and leveraging relationships with software vendor sales teams
  • Proven capacity to provide strategic guidance to Nonprofit and Higher Education clients
  • Knowledge of CRM, digital fundraising, and relevant technologies
