Key Responsibilities:- Schedule, Train, Manage, and Develop Staff: Oversee and manage the orientation process, monitor and manage the performance of associates, communicate closely with leadership regarding hiring, counselling, and separation decisions, and ensure all company procedures are followed in regard to all HR issues.
- Manage Budget and Financial Performance: Have a complete understanding of what you are accountable for financially and how much it costs to run your restaurant, perform regular cash and safe audits per company policy, and constantly monitor trends in sales and costs to ensure the restaurant is performing financially as well as it can be.
- Maintain Restaurant Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain the restaurant in an immaculately clean condition at all times and communicate any maintenance/repair/service issues with leadership as soon as possible.
- Represent Layne's and Connect with the Local Community: Represent Layne's as well as you can at all times in conjunction with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of the brand, connect with the local community actively, and constantly reach out to local schools and businesses to try to elevate the popularity of Layne's in the community.
- Enhance Customer Experience: Always look for new ways to enhance the quality of the customer experience.
- Maintain Excellent Relationships: Maintain excellent relationships with all customers.
- Perform Management Responsibilities: Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Participate in Employee Meetings and Training Programs: Participate in employee meetings and training programs.
- Maintain Food Cost and Quality Standards: Maintain food cost while ensuring quality standards.
- Manage Purchasing and Inventory Controls: Manage purchasing and inventory controls.
- Conduct Safety, Sanitation, and Maintenance Programs: Conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs.
- Handle Sudden Situations: Have the capability of handling sudden situations that arise, such as staff or customer complaints, lack of inventory, lack of staff members, and dealing with emergency situations with style and grace.
- Education: Minimum of High School Diploma or GED required, a college degree in hospitality and management or a formal education in a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 plus years of previous fast food drive-through supervisory experience.
- Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Technology Skills: Proficient in a variety of technology systems, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and able to adapt to new systems quickly.
- Physical Demands: On occasion, may be required to lift and carry, push or pull heavy objects up to fifty pounds; kneel, bend or stoop, ascend or descend stairs; reach and grasp objects.
- Brand Ambassador: Be a Brand ambassador both in and outside of the restaurant.
- Leadership and Organizational Skills: Excellent leadership and organizational skills, flexible and adaptable to constant changes, and must possess attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Time Management: Manages time effectively and prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines.
- Personal Integrity: Conformity to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior.
- Certifications: ServSafe or Department of Health certification a plus.
- Local Restaurant Marketing Experience: Local restaurant marketing experience a plus.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to recognize problems and problem-solve.
- Feedback and Improvement: Ability to accept feedback and willingness to improve.
- Goal Setting and Planning: Ability to set goals, create plans, and convert plans into action.
- Performance Measurement: Ability to measure performance, subjectively and objectively.
Compensation: $55,000.00 per year.
