Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Documentation Specialist to join our team in Norman, Oklahoma. As an integral member of our documentation team, you will be responsible for researching, developing, publishing, and maintaining technical documentation while adhering to prescribed schedules and budgets.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated at $55,000 to $70,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision insurance benefits, 401K, and monetary bonuses.

Job Responsibilities
  • You will work with a small team to review, validate, and create engineering/technical documentation, utilizing your knowledge of industrial equipment systems (mechanical, electrical, electronics, electromechanical, software, and machine communications).
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Possess technical training/education and general working level knowledge of industrial equipment systems.
  • Technical/engineering documentation or publication experience, with a preference for technical writing.
  • Familiarity with XML authoring tools or MS Office productivity software suites.
  • Familiar with CAD editing software and/or photo editing software suites.
  • Experience dealing with manuals, blueprints, or schematics.
  • Familiarity with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) would be beneficial.
  • Any familiarity or exposure with industrial controls or robotics is preferred.
  • Strong writing skills.
