Job Summary

This part-time Dietitian position is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Providence PACE, a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly. As a Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing nutrition assessment, counseling, and planning to participants identified as being at nutritional risk. You will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized nutrition plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments to identify participants at risk of malnutrition
Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans to address participant needs
Provide education and counseling to participants and their families on healthy eating habits and nutrition
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination
Monitor and document participant response to nutrition therapy

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or related field
Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) and supervised practice experience
Washington Dietitian Certification or Washington Nutritionist Certification within 6 months of hire
National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in Nutrition or related field
1 year of clinical dietitian experience working with a geriatric population
