Dietitian (Part Time) - PACE/Elderplace

This is a part-time position working 32 hours a week on weekdays during the day shift. The Dietitian provides nutrition assessment, counseling, and planning upon inter-disciplinary team referral for participants identified as being at nutritional risk according to established screening protocol or as ordered by physician.
Key responsibilities include monitoring and documenting the participant's response to mode of nutritional therapy used. The Providence PACE program is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly that strives to keep older adults as healthy as possible living in the community through clinics, home visits, and more.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or
- Bachelor's Degree in a field other than Nutrition, with Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) and
- Coursework/Training and Coordinated Program in Dietetics Completed an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) – accredited supervised practice: Dietetic Internship Program or Individual Supervised Practice Pathway
- Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Dietitian Certification or
- Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Nutritionist Certification
- National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nutrition or other related field
- 1 year of Clinical dietitian working with a geriatric population

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics, and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.
HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses.
