Job Summary

As a Product Support Specialist at the Polynesian Cultural Center, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day reservations support, including Power BI reporting dashboard. You will identify department and end-user needs, developing and executing tailored plans to address these requirements. You will also assist the IT Manager in formulating multi-year product roadmaps. Additionally, you will be the primary point of contact for our business intelligence efforts using Power BI, designing and fulfilling reporting needs for end users. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of application training and awareness, while providing stakeholders with updates and performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the IT Manager in the Product Life Cycle, including creation of product plans, understanding business risks and their mitigation, and maintaining/supporting the product.
  • Work in a team to define and document work processes, identify key issues, and understand customer base, business processes, and document customer requirements.
  • Interact with vendors, consultants, and professional groups, develop business cases and feasibility analysis, and identify organizational and customer impact.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of industry track record of successful assisting in product development and/or product management.
  • 1+ year of experience with Power BI.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience with lifecycle management and support.
  • Must be fluent in the English language with strong verbal and written communication skills.
