About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Rare Disease Sales Specialist to join our team at Kyowa Kirin. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in establishing our company as a leader in the rare disease market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of clinical knowledge to effectively engage with healthcare professionals in the areas of X-Linked Hypophosphatemia (XLH) and Tumor-Induced Osteomalacia (TIO).
  • Focus on achieving the greatest positive patient impact by identifying and supporting patients with rare diseases.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans to effectively communicate the value proposition of our products to healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and achieve business objectives.
  • Manage patient identification and access to therapy by understanding the patient journey and providing education and support to healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Business, MBA, Pharmacy, or Medical Degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of specialty pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • Proven track record of success in making a profound difference in patients' lives by enabling access to the best treatments available.
  • Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs, conditions, and work responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in executing marketing strategies at the local level.
  • Demonstrated business and strategic planning skills to identify unique selling opportunities and adaptability to changing market conditions.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the managed care landscape and its impact on business.
  • Strong collaboration skills and success working in teams.
